OPENING TIMES
Business hours are from Tuesday to Friday and we offer appointment times starting at 8.45am, with the last one being at 2.45pm.
After hours appointments are available by appointment and conditions apply.
COMPETITION ENTRIES
Entries shall only be accepted from persons 18 years of age or older who have not won a prize or redeemed a voucher with Freedom Photography in the last 24 months. It is always the responsibility of the person or persons being photographed to declare their age and Freedom Photography accepts no liability if this is not made clear before any photography commences.
To be eligible for any prize draw, entries must be original coupons and have all fields completed. Entry coupons not completed fully will be rejected. Prize winners will be notified by email, Australia Post or phone. The major prize winner will be the first valid entry drawn on the day of the draw. Prizes remain valid for a period of 3 months and if not claimed it will be considered that the winner no longer has an interest in redeeming the prize. Consolation prizes will have an expiry date applied on the letter of notification or the prize certificate. prizes are for domestic use only and can not be used for any other purpose. Prizes are not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable in whole or any part for cash or any cash equivalent. Prizes cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or voucher. The judges decision will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
GIFT CERTIFICATES | SPECIAL OFFERS | DISCOUNTS
Gift certificates must be registered by the holder prior to the expiry date provided the holder has not redeemed a competition prize, gift certificate or promotional item with Freedom Photography Group Pty Ltd in the 6 months prior to registering the offer. After hours appointments receive half the credit amount stated on the offer.
Gift certificates which include a complimentary portrait or credit toward purchases will receive an image of Freedom Photography Group Pty Ltd’s choosing however the gift certificate/credit holder may be eligible to choose under certain circumstances. It is the responsibility of the Claimant to declare that they hold a gift certificate at the photo viewing to claim their complimentary image/credit , failure to do so will result in any monies paid for products being ineligible for refund or credit retrospectively.
Freedom Photography Group Pty Ltd reserves the right to vary the length and content of the photoshoot based on the client’s requirements, this will be at the sole discretion of Freedom Photography Group Pty Ltd. Only one gift certificate may be used at a time and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or voucher. Gift certificates are not redeemable for cash or any equivalent value. Non-attendance for a viewing appointment will be regarded as a non-purchase and treated accordingly.
Any offer, discount or voucher is only available for redemption on the day of the viewing. If the order is changed after the viewing appointment the offer may no longer apply and is completely at the discretion of Freedom Photography Group Pty Ltd.
CANCELLATIONS/RE-SCHEDULED APPOINTMENTS
We require 48 hours notice of cancellation of an appointment. Deposits are not refundable if the appointment is cancelled less than 48 hours before it is due. If rescheduling a session, a new date must be secured 7 days from the original session date for voucher to retain it’s validity. Rescheduling a session more than once will incur an additional $50 deposit each time.
VOUCHERS/SPECIALS
When you book your session the same 48 hour notice period applies, cancellations/re-schedules within this period will attract a an additional holding deposit. A $90 special may be rescheduled once and the re-secheduled appointment must take place within 7 days of the original session date for voucher to retain entitlements, payments and inclusions. Vouchers must be redeemed within 3 months of the expiry date declared on the voucher.
Your voucher entitles you to a week day shoot and requires a $50 refundable deposit which is used to secure your photographer sessions requiring after hours or weekend appointments attract a $200 non-refundable deposit which may be used as studio credit toward anything you choose to purchase at the viewing session
Holders of a voucher will receive a full professional photoshoot. It is a requirement of the company that our photographers proceed as per the proscribed agenda for each photoshoot. A client is not permitted to alter or change the duration or content of the photography session. Each photoshoot will follow the process necessary to provide the client with the optimum range of images for their choice during the viewing session.
TRANSFERABILITY
Promotional vouchers and gift certificates ARE transferable to family or friends. Prizes and gift certificates cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or voucher. Only one gift certificate or voucher can be used at one time. Certificates and vouchers cannot be used to purchase goods or products from other photo sessions.
CREATIVE CONTROL
Freedom Photography reserves creative control over the design and content of each photoshoot and all photographic content. We may, at our discretion decline to create certain types or styles of photography. We reserve the right to refuse to produce images and display pieces of certain sizes or combinations of sizes if their production is not possible due to circumstances beyond our control or we believe such images would reflect in a negative way on the reputation of Freedom Photography as a professional studio.
REFUSAL OF SERVICE
Freedom Photography reserves the right to refuse service if in our opinion the provision of service is likely to cause disruption to the normal operation of the business.
PURCHASING SESSION
All photoshoots include a follow up session to view and purchase your images. If, at the time of the viewing/ purchasing session you are unable to make a decision and require another appointment, the second and subsequent viewing/purchasing sessions may attract a fee of $175 per re-viewing session.
PURCHASE CONTRACTS
All images and their copyright remain the property of Freedom Photography Group, they may be reproduced for personal use but cannot be used for commercial gain without written permission from Freedom Photography Group Pty Ltd. An order will be considered ‘in production’ by signing of the purchase agreement and refunds are not possible.
*Cancellations are only permissable within 24 hours of the order being placed by receipt of a request to cancel the order by email to ‘[email protected]’. Any payment defaults will void the agreement and the full amount will become payable immediately, any associated recovery costs together with interest calculated at 6% of an outstanding amount will be referred to a debt collection agency.
*Cancellations will incur a fee of 30% of the order value due to the custom nature of the goods involved.
*Cancellations are not available for digitally delivered products.
*Freedom Photography Group retains ownership of all products until account is paid in full. Remainder of invoice to be paid with the Debitsuccess agreement in place with this order. By entering into the Debitsuccess agreement, you acknowledge that the description of the debits will show on your bank records as either ‘Freedom Photography O’Connor’, ‘Your reference number – Debitsuccess Notting Hill’ or ‘Debitsuccess Notting Hill’ if you have provided your BSB and bank account number. If you have provided your credit card or debit card details it will show as ‘DBFREEDOMPHOTOGRAPH’.
For any payment plan offered by Freedom Photography Group – digital products are not available for release until
* 20% deposit has been paid
* Three successful, consecutive payments have been satisfied according to the terms of your purchase agreement
RETENTION OF IMAGES
Freedom Photography accepts no liability for loss of stored images due to circumstances beyond their control including human error and technical failure. If a purchase is completed at the viewing/purchasing session, your images will be stored indefinitely. Alternatively, if no purchase is completed, images are stored for a period of seven (7) days to facilitate a change of mind. If you are using one of our layby plans and we are storing your images, all care is taken to ensure that they will be available for the creation of your products. If a situation arises where funds have been paid to Freedom Photography and the original images are no longer available due to the aforementioned or some other circumstance, the client will be eligible to have another photo session in order to replace the original images and products of equal or greater value will then be created from these new images. Refunds are not available where a purchase contract is in place, deposits have been made and a client changes their mind.

Our Studio cares about Quality and for this reason we prefer to produce and deliver to you any printed Photo Products that you require. We use the best quality suppliers and offer top of the range Prints, Albums and Wall Art where we have the strictest quality control measures in place for every step of production.
We understand that sometimes the Digital Files are also required and so we would like to offer you some helpful advice.
We highly recommend that you create a backup copy of your images as soon as possible and store them safely.
The digital files provided by our Studio are the same as what we would use for a perfect quality print sized as a 7×10 inch jpeg image with a resolution of 300 dpi. This is industry standard print resolution.
Your digital images are edited in our Studio on colour corrected specialty monitors using the latest available professional editing software. Our trusted suppliers also use professional equipment and Software and have strict quality controls in place.
If you view your files on a normal Computer or Monitor, your image may look different to what you saw in our Studio. This can be due to colour shifts, monitor quality or excessive zooming to a level that would not be seen with the naked eye in a printed product.
Additionally, if your files are manipulated (eg stretched or edited) by anyone after they leave our Studio, we cannot be held responsible, nor can we replace them.
For optimum use of your files we strongly advise that you do not print them at a low quality print facility such as photo kiosks in most major chain stores or use online software which often degrades the file quality and can result in less than ideal finished products. The use of these resources can sometimes result in images which are not the quality you expected, we are always happy to produce extra products for you, please enquire about this with us at any time after your photoshoot.
Freedom Photography Group accepts no responsibility for the quality of anything you may have printed or created with these files once they leave our premises. This is because we have no control over outside printing or manipulation if the subsequent processing of them is not under our supervision.
Additionally, such processing can lead people to believe that this is the quality of the work produced by our studio, so we ask you to be extremely cautious with both your images and our Studio Reputation and seek advice from us if you need.
With this information we ask that you respect and protect the reputation of our studio and have the files printed at a recognised print facility.
Call us and we can recommend a professional print facility that meets our standards.
We keep copies of the files used for any products that were produced through our studio.
We DO NOT keep the files if you choose digital-only, nor do we keep any files for images that you did not purchase.
We do not provide the RAW or unedited files under any circumstances.
Digital Images are customised to your specifications and cannot be ‘returned’. They are digitally delivered and due to their custom nature and delivery method, your order is unable to be cancelled or refunded. Under Australian Consumer Law refunds or exchanges are not entertained if you simply change your mind, therefore, once delivered, no refunds are possible.
In the unlikely event that you have any issues with your digitally delivered images, you agree to work with our editing team, collaboratively to resolve the issues. At our absolute discretion if we are unable to resolve an issue, we may substitute an image.
A note on Copyright:
Freedom Photography Group own the copyright to all the photographs that we take and have the right to use images taken during your photography session for promotion, publication and advertising.
You can use the photographs you purchase, including digital files, for your personal purposes. You can share them or display them as you wish with the exception of ‘for commercial gain’. This can include having the images we provide you manipulated by a third party or receiving a royalty for their use.
We trust that you will enjoy your beautiful images forever and if you have any further questions we are only too happy to provide advice.
COLLECTION OF GOODS
Whilst we make every possible effort to contact you regarding collection of your goods we are limited in the amount of time we can hold them.
Unless prior arrangement has been made for collection we will hold your products for a period of 6 months after which time they may be subject to disposal.

We will only collect sensitive information about you with your consent. Sensitive information is personal information that includes information relating to your racial or ethnic origin, political persuasion, memberships in trade or professional associations or trade unions, sexual preferences, criminal record, or health.
HOW SAVE AND SECURE IS YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION THAT WE HOLD?
We will take reasonable steps to protect your personal information by storing it in a secure environment. We may store your personal information in paper and electronic form. We will also take reasonable steps to protect any personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure.
